Bees Vs. Wasps
Okay people, after much creative thought I have decided to teach the world about the difference. The difference between a bee and a wasp. Okay let’s start…
BEE

Origin: http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/05/bigcity_bees.php
Statistics:
Colors: Orangish and black stripes
Stings: More powerful venom than a wasp’s, but it dies after it stings.<Update> I’ve been looking at some sites and the bee sometimes lives when the sting doesn’t stay, and it flies off or tries to sting again.>
Home: Bees live in hives
Food: They make honey and gather pollen
Alright then on to the wasp.
Wasp

Origin: http://www.english-country-garden.com/animals/german-wasp.htm
This is a wasp, a common one known as the German Wasp.
Statistics:
Colors: Yellow and black
Stings: Less powerful, but they live to sting again
Home: Wasps live in burrows underground or in trees, but not in hives
Food: Just like some bumblebees they steal honey from bees, eat them or eat something else, another insect.
YAY, now you can go out in the world and tell everyone the difference between a wasp and a bee!

Since you’ve been to my blog you know how much I love bees! I’m not so fond of wasps though. They aren’t as cute. lol
Sorry it took so long to get over here, but I haven’t been feeling well and I don’t have internet access in my home now that I’m traveling a lot. Nice site. Good theme!
Thx and guys, leave some comments
I just love both bees and wasps. I would love to see them have a battle. My cat Turkey loves to hunt both. I’m amazed that to this day, he’s never been stung. I think your blog site is awesome. I’m very proud of you fellas. Keep it up!
Thanks for the info., you settled a bet. Does a wasp sting multiple times
Well, whew, I haven’t updated this old bad boy in a while, kinda abandoned it, but to answer your question, yes wasps usually sting multiple times unless you crush it
Thank you for the large pictures and info, no all I gotta do is get those wasps outta my wall
